Cabane_de_berger_beauceron

An old postcard bearing a black-and-white photo of a small, shabby wooden cabin on wheels in some fields with sheep in a pen behind it. The door of the hut is open and the top half of the shepherd's body can be seen lying inside it, propping himself up on one elbow and looking at the camera with a serious expression. He is on striped bedding and is wearing a cap with a tassel on it and a dark baggy robe. He has a large moustache. A dog, an Alsatian-type, lies on the ground next to the hut, and another, a Collie-type, lies under the hut. The man's shoes are just outside the hut on the ground, they seem to be pointy-toed slipper-type footwear. At the top of the image are the printed French words: "En Beauce. - Cabane de Berger."
