We are seeking a two part-time Associate Editors to commission and coordinate book reviews. Launched in 2018, The Polyphony has rapidly become the leading international web platform for medical humanities research. The site is a vibrant hub for conversations about the latest developments in the interdisciplinary field of medical humanities which engage academics, health professionals and the general public.
Associate Editors x 2 (2-3 hours/week, £12.10/hour)
The Associate Editors will be responsible for pro-actively curating, coordinating and editing book reviews for The Polyphony. The Associate Editors will have a genuine passion for medical humanities and a relevant degree (ideally a Masters or PhD). They must also be self-motivated with excellent writing and editing skills, and the ability to build effective relationships with contributors and colleagues.
Applicants MUST be eligible to work in the UK.
Although formally based in Durham, this work can be done remotely. The exact working pattern is negotiable however regular engagement is essential. For more information download the full job description here.
